After careful consideration, we decided to end support for Amazon FinSpace, effective October 7, 2026. Amazon FinSpace will no longer accept new customers beginning October 7, 2025. As an existing customer with an Amazon FinSpace environment created before October 7, 2025, you can continue to use the service as normal. What is Amazon FinSpace?

Amazon FinSpace with Managed kdb Insights is a web service that makes it easier to setup, operate, and scale kdb Insights applications in the AWS cloud. Using simple APIs, you can configure and run kdb Insights applications, using fully managed infrastructure, for a broad range of real-time and historical analytics architectures. FinSpace reduces the time required to migrate existing kdb Insights applications or build new ones on AWS. FinSpacee eliminates the work required to manage the underlying infrastructure and is seamlessly integrated with existing AWS services for operations, governance, and security.

Built by KX, kdb Insights is a high performance analytics engine that is commonly used by capital markets customers for analysis of real-time and historical time series data. Kdb Insights is optimized for analyzing real-time and multi-petabyte historical timeseries data. Capital markets customers use kdb Insights to power business-critical workloads, such as options pricing, transaction cost analysis, and backtesting.
