Exporting device details

  1. Select the device from which you want to export the details. You can either browse through the dropdown list or you can search for the device by using the search field.

  2. Select the Actions button.

  3. Select Export device details from the dropdown list. The details for the selected device download in a spreadsheet format.

Your Amazon WorkSpaces Thin Client - Data generated by the use of the device

Your Amazon WorkSpaces Thin Client generates and collects data about your interactions with it.

Types of Data: Your Amazon WorkSpaces Thin Client generates data about device performance, usage patterns, and interactions with other AWS services. This includes technical data (like status and settings), usage data (such as log-in time stamps), and diagnostics data (such as system log where relevant).

Data Volume & Collection: The amount of data generated varies based on how you use your device and services. Data is collected continuously during device operation.

Data Storage: Data from your device is stored securely on the device itself or on AWS servers. It is stored in structured, machine-readable formats.

Data Access: You can access your device data through your AWS account following instructions listed here. Further information, including instructions on data downloads and information on the quality of service, is available on these pages.

Data Management: You can review your device data through your AWS account. To learn more about your device's data practices, please review our Service Terms and Privacy Notice.

Data Deletion: You can delete your device data through your AWS account. For information about data retention and deletion options, visit Deleting a device.

Data sharing with others: AWS does not share your device data with third parties. Only authorized third parties can access your data upon your approval via our Identify and Access Management processes. AWS shares personal data with third parties in limited cases included in the AWS Privacy Notice.
