What is Amazon Corretto 27?

This is an intermediate build made available for testing purposes only. The code is untested and presumed incompatible with the Java SE Specification. You should not deploy or write to this code, but instead use a tested and certified Java SE compatible version of the code. Redistribution of this build must retain this notice.

Amazon Corretto 27 is a Feature Release (FR) distribution of OpenJDK 27

This guide includes a list of patches applied to OpenJDK for this release of Amazon Corretto 27, and installation instructions for the platforms supported by this version.

Feature Release (FR)

FR includes Amazon's commitment to provide performance enhancements and security updates at no cost until the specified date for the relevant release version. Updates are planned to be released quarterly. Amazon also plans to apply urgent fixes (including security) outside of the regular quarterly cycle when they are available and ready to use.
