Quotas for projects
The following table describes quotas and limits for projects in Amazon CodeCatalyst. For more information about quotas in Amazon CodeCatalyst, see Quotas for CodeCatalyst.

| Project names |
Project names must be unique within a space. Names must be between 3 and 63 characters. Names are case sensitive. Project names must begin with an alphanumeric character. Valid characters: A-Z, a-z, 0-9, spaces, and . , _ (underscore) - (hyphen) Project names cannot contain any of the following characters: |

Project descriptions can be up to 200 characters. Valid characters: A-Z, a-z, 0-9, spaces, and . , _ (underscore) - (hyphen). Project descriptions are optional. |
