# Amazon EC2 執行個體類型命名慣例

Amazon EC2 提供多種執行個體類型，因此您可以選擇最符合需求的類型。執行個體類型是根據其*執行個體系列*和*執行個體大小*來命名。執行個體系列的第一個位置表示*序列*，例如 `c`。第二個位置表示*產生*，例如 `7`。第三個位置表示*選項*，例如 `gn`。在句點 (`.`) 之後是執行個體大小，例如 `small` 或 `4xlarge`，或 `metal` (針對裸機執行個體)。
