# Adding tags to a custom lens in AWS WA Tool
Adding tags to a lens

**To add tags to a custom lens**

1. Sign in to the AWS Management Console and open the AWS Well-Architected Tool console at [https://console.aws.amazon.com/wellarchitected/](https://console.aws.amazon.com/wellarchitected/).

1. In the left navigation pane, choose **Custom lenses**.

1. Select the custom lens you want to update.

1. In the **Tags** section, choose **Manage Tags**.

1. Select **Add new tag** and enter the **Key** and **Value **for each tag you want to add.

1. Select **Save**. 

To remove a tag, choose **Remove** next to the tag you want to remove.
