# How AWS Elemental MediaConvert uses AWS Secrets Manager

AWS Elemental MediaConvert is a file-based video processing service that provides scalable video processing for content owners and distributors with media libraries of any size. To use MediaConvert to encode Kantar watermarks, you use Secrets Manager to store your Kantar credentials.
