An identity resolver is a component that is able to resolve a customer's Amazon.Runtime.Identity.BaseIdentity. It might load the identity from: Remote service (e.g. AWS Security Token Service) Local service (e.g. Instance Metadata Service) Local disk (e.g. configuration file) Local memory (e.g. environment variables)

Public Method ResolveIdentity(IClientConfig)

Loads the customer's identity for this resolver. If the identity cannot be resolved an AmazonClientException will be thrown.

Public Method ResolveIdentityAsync(IClientConfig, CancellationToken)

Loads the customer's identity for this resolver. If the identity cannot be resolved an AmazonClientException will be thrown.
