Namespace: Amazon.EC2.Model
Assembly: AWSSDK.EC2.dll
Version: 3.x.y.z

Syntax

C#
public class DescribeSnapshotsResponse : AmazonWebServiceResponse

The DescribeSnapshotsResponse type exposes the following members

Constructors

NameDescription
Public Method DescribeSnapshotsResponse()

Properties

NameTypeDescription
Public Property ContentLength System.Int64 Inherited from Amazon.Runtime.AmazonWebServiceResponse.
Public Property HttpStatusCode System.Net.HttpStatusCode Inherited from Amazon.Runtime.AmazonWebServiceResponse.
Public Property NextToken System.String

Gets and sets the property NextToken.

The token to include in another request to get the next page of items. This value is null when there are no more items to return.

Public Property ResponseMetadata Amazon.Runtime.ResponseMetadata Inherited from Amazon.Runtime.AmazonWebServiceResponse.
Public Property Snapshots System.Collections.Generic.List<Amazon.EC2.Model.Snapshot>

Gets and sets the property Snapshots.

Information about the snapshots.

Starting with version 4 of the SDK this property will default to null. If no data for this property is returned from the service the property will also be null. This was changed to improve performance and allow the SDK and caller to distinguish between a property not set or a property being empty to clear out a value. To retain the previous SDK behavior set the AWSConfigs.InitializeCollections static property to true.

Examples

This example describes a snapshot with the snapshot ID of ``snap-1234567890abcdef0``.

To describe a snapshot

var client = new AmazonEC2Client();
var response = client.DescribeSnapshots(new DescribeSnapshotsRequest
{
    SnapshotIds = new List<string> {
        "snap-1234567890abcdef0"
    }
});

string nextToken = response.NextToken;
List<Snapshot> snapshots = response.Snapshots;

This example describes all snapshots owned by the ID 012345678910 that are in the ``pending`` status.

To describe snapshots using filters

var client = new AmazonEC2Client();
var response = client.DescribeSnapshots(new DescribeSnapshotsRequest
{
    Filters = new List<Filter> {
        new Filter {
            Name = "status",
            Values = new List<string> {
                "pending"
            }
        }
    },
    OwnerIds = new List<string> {
        "012345678910"
    }
});

string nextToken = response.NextToken;
List<Snapshot> snapshots = response.Snapshots;
