Creates a lookup table by uploading CSV data. You can use lookup tables to enrich log data in CloudWatch Logs Insights queries with reference data such as user details, application names, or error descriptions.

The table name must be unique within your account and Region. The CSV content must include a header row with column names, use UTF-8 encoding, and not exceed 10 MB.

Note:

This is an asynchronous operation using the standard naming convention for .NET 4.7.2 or higher.

Parameters

request
Type: Amazon.CloudWatchLogs.Model.CreateLookupTableRequest

Container for the necessary parameters to execute the CreateLookupTable service method.

cancellationToken
Type: System.Threading.CancellationToken

A cancellation token that can be used by other objects or threads to receive notice of cancellation.

Return Value


The response from the CreateLookupTable service method, as returned by CloudWatchLogs.

Exceptions

ExceptionCondition
AccessDeniedException You don't have sufficient permissions to perform this action.
InvalidParameterException A parameter is specified incorrectly.
LimitExceededException You have reached the maximum number of resources that can be created.
ResourceAlreadyExistsException The specified resource already exists.
ServiceUnavailableException The service cannot complete the request.
ValidationException One of the parameters for the request is not valid.
