AmazonLambdaClient.DeleteLayerVersion Method (DeleteLayerVersionRequest)

Deletes a version of an Lambda layer. Deleted versions can no longer be viewed or added to functions. To avoid breaking functions, a copy of the version remains in Lambda until no functions refer to it.

For .NET Core this operation is only available in asynchronous form. Please refer to DeleteLayerVersionAsync.

Parameters

request: Type: Amazon.Lambda.Model.DeleteLayerVersionRequest

Container for the necessary parameters to execute the DeleteLayerVersion service method.

Return Value

Type: DeleteLayerVersionResponse

The response from the DeleteLayerVersion service method, as returned by Lambda.

Exceptions

Exception	Condition
ServiceException	The Lambda service encountered an internal error.
TooManyRequestsException	The request throughput limit was exceeded. For more information, see Lambda quotas.
