Updates any of the metadata for a test case, such as the name, description, and status or content of an existing test case. This API doesn't allow customers to update the tags of the test case resource for the specified Amazon Connect instance.

Note:

This is an asynchronous operation using the standard naming convention for .NET 4.5 or higher. For .NET 3.5 the operation is implemented as a pair of methods using the standard naming convention of BeginUpdateTestCase and EndUpdateTestCase.

Parameters

request
Type: Amazon.Connect.Model.UpdateTestCaseRequest

Container for the necessary parameters to execute the UpdateTestCase service method.

cancellationToken
Type: System.Threading.CancellationToken

A cancellation token that can be used by other objects or threads to receive notice of cancellation.

Return Value


The response from the UpdateTestCase service method, as returned by Connect.

Exceptions

ExceptionCondition
AccessDeniedException You do not have sufficient permissions to perform this action.
DuplicateResourceException A resource with the specified name already exists.
InternalServiceException Request processing failed because of an error or failure with the service.
InvalidParameterException One or more of the specified parameters are not valid.
InvalidRequestException The request is not valid.
InvalidTestCaseException The test is not valid.
ResourceNotFoundException The specified resource was not found.
ThrottlingException The throttling limit has been exceeded.
