About RegisterRdsDbInstance¶

Registers an Amazon RDS instance with a stack.

Required Permissions: To use this action, an IAM user must have a Manage permissions level for the stack, or an attached policy that explicitly grants permissions. For more information on user permissions, see Managing User Permissions.

Required arguments:¶

`iv_stackid` `TYPE /AWS1/OWXSTRING` `/AWS1/OWXSTRING`¶

The stack ID.

`iv_rdsdbinstancearn` `TYPE /AWS1/OWXSTRING` `/AWS1/OWXSTRING`¶

The Amazon RDS instance's ARN.

`iv_dbuser` `TYPE /AWS1/OWXSTRING` `/AWS1/OWXSTRING`¶

The database's master user name.

`iv_dbpassword` `TYPE /AWS1/OWXSTRING` `/AWS1/OWXSTRING`¶

The database password.
