About CreateProject¶

The IoT SiteWise Monitor feature will no longer be open to new customers starting November 7, 2025. If you would like to use the IoT SiteWise Monitor feature, sign up prior to that date. Creates a project in the specified portal.

Make sure that the project name and description don't contain confidential information.

IMPORTING¶

Required arguments:¶

`iv_portalid` `TYPE /AWS1/IOSID` `/AWS1/IOSID`¶

The ID of the portal in which to create the project.

`iv_projectname` `TYPE /AWS1/IOSNAME` `/AWS1/IOSNAME`¶

A friendly name for the project.

Optional arguments:¶

`iv_projectdescription` `TYPE /AWS1/IOSDESCRIPTION` `/AWS1/IOSDESCRIPTION`¶

A description for the project.

`iv_clienttoken` `TYPE /AWS1/IOSCLIENTTOKEN` `/AWS1/IOSCLIENTTOKEN`¶

A unique case-sensitive identifier that you can provide to ensure the idempotency of the request. Don't reuse this client token if a new idempotent request is required.

`it_tags` `TYPE /AWS1/CL_IOSTAGMAP_W=>TT_TAGMAP` `TT_TAGMAP`¶

A list of key-value pairs that contain metadata for the project. For more information, see Tagging your IoT SiteWise resources in the IoT SiteWise User Guide.
