IMPORTING¶
Required arguments:¶
iv_databasename TYPE /AWS1/GLUNAMESTRING /AWS1/GLUNAMESTRING¶
The name of the catalog database in which the table in question resides.
iv_tablename TYPE /AWS1/GLUNAMESTRING /AWS1/GLUNAMESTRING¶
The name of the table in which the partition to be updated is located.
it_partitionvaluelist TYPE /AWS1/CL_GLUBOUNDEDPARTITION00=>TT_BOUNDEDPARTITIONVALUELIST TT_BOUNDEDPARTITIONVALUELIST¶
List of partition key values that define the partition to update.
io_partitioninput TYPE REF TO /AWS1/CL_GLUPARTITIONINPUT /AWS1/CL_GLUPARTITIONINPUT¶
The new partition object to update the partition to.
The
Valuesproperty can't be changed. If you want to change the partition key values for a partition, delete and recreate the partition.
Optional arguments:¶
iv_catalogid TYPE /AWS1/GLUCATALOGIDSTRING /AWS1/GLUCATALOGIDSTRING¶
The ID of the Data Catalog where the partition to be updated resides. If none is provided, the Amazon Web Services account ID is used by default.
RETURNING¶
oo_output TYPE REF TO /aws1/cl_gluupdatepartitionrsp /AWS1/CL_GLUUPDATEPARTITIONRSP¶
Domain /AWS1/RT_ACCOUNT_ID Primitive Type NUMC

Syntax Example¶
This is an example of the syntax for calling the method. It includes every possible argument and initializes every possible value. The data provided is not necessarily semantically accurate (for example the value "string" may be provided for something that is intended to be an instance ID, or in some cases two arguments may be mutually exclusive). The syntax shows the ABAP syntax for creating the various data structures.
