About UpdateConnection

Updates the Direct Connect connection configuration.

You can update the following parameters for a connection:

  • The connection name

  • The connection's MAC Security (MACsec) encryption mode.

Method Signature

IMPORTING

Required arguments:

iv_connectionid TYPE /AWS1/DCOCONNECTIONID /AWS1/DCOCONNECTIONID

The ID of the connection.

You can use DescribeConnections to retrieve the connection ID.

Optional arguments:

iv_connectionname TYPE /AWS1/DCOCONNECTIONNAME /AWS1/DCOCONNECTIONNAME

The name of the connection.

iv_encryptionmode TYPE /AWS1/DCOENCRYPTIONMODE /AWS1/DCOENCRYPTIONMODE

The connection MAC Security (MACsec) encryption mode.

The valid values are no_encrypt, should_encrypt, and must_encrypt.
