/AWS1/IF_ASC=>DETACHLOADBALANCERTGTGROUPS()¶
About DetachLoadBalancerTargetGroups¶
This API operation is superseded by DetachTrafficSources, which
can detach multiple traffic sources types. We recommend using
DetachTrafficSources to simplify how you manage traffic sources.
However, we continue to support DetachLoadBalancerTargetGroups. You can
use both the original DetachLoadBalancerTargetGroups API operation and
DetachTrafficSources on the same Auto Scaling group.
Detaches one or more target groups from the specified Auto Scaling group.
When you detach a target group, it enters the Removing state while
deregistering the instances in the group. When all instances are deregistered, then you
can no longer describe the target group using the
DescribeLoadBalancerTargetGroups
API call. The instances remain running.
You can use this operation to detach target groups that were attached by using AttachLoadBalancerTargetGroups, but not for target groups that were attached by using AttachTrafficSources.

Examples¶
Syntax Example¶
This is an example of the syntax for calling the method. It includes every possible argument and initializes every possible value. The data provided is not necessarily semantically accurate (for example the value "string" may be provided for something that is intended to be an instance ID, or in some cases two arguments may be mutually exclusive). The syntax shows the ABAP syntax for creating the various data structures.
DATA(lo_result) = lo_client->detachloadbalancertgtgroups(
it_targetgrouparns = VALUE /aws1/cl_asctargetgrouparns_w=>tt_targetgrouparns(
( new /aws1/cl_asctargetgrouparns_w( |string| ) )
)
iv_autoscalinggroupname = |string|
).
This is an example of reading all possible response values
lo_result = lo_result.
IF lo_result IS NOT INITIAL.
ENDIF.
To detach a target group from an Auto Scaling group¶
This example detaches the specified target group from the specified Auto Scaling group
DATA(lo_result) = lo_client->detachloadbalancertgtgroups(
it_targetgrouparns = VALUE /aws1/cl_asctargetgrouparns_w=>tt_targetgrouparns(
( new /aws1/cl_asctargetgrouparns_w( |arn:aws:elasticloadbalancing:us-west-2:123456789012:targetgroup/my-targets/73e2d6bc24d8a067| ) )
)
iv_autoscalinggroupname = |my-auto-scaling-group|
).
