# DeleteSchedule

Deletes the specified schedule.

## Request Syntax

## URI Request Parameters
<a name="API_DeleteSchedule_RequestParameters"></a>

The request uses the following URI parameters.

 ** [ClientToken](#API_DeleteSchedule_RequestSyntax) **   <a name="scheduler-DeleteSchedule-request-uri-ClientToken"></a>
 Unique, case-sensitive identifier you provide to ensure the idempotency of the request. If you do not specify a client token, EventBridge Scheduler uses a randomly generated token for the request to ensure idempotency.   
Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 64.  
Pattern: `[a-zA-Z0-9-_]+` 

 ** [GroupName](#API_DeleteSchedule_RequestSyntax) **   <a name="scheduler-DeleteSchedule-request-uri-GroupName"></a>
The name of the schedule group associated with this schedule. If you omit this, the default schedule group is used.  
Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 64.  
Pattern: `[0-9a-zA-Z-_.]+` 

 ** [Name](#API_DeleteSchedule_RequestSyntax) **   <a name="scheduler-DeleteSchedule-request-uri-Name"></a>
The name of the schedule to delete.  
Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 64.  
Pattern: `[0-9a-zA-Z-_.]+`   
Required: Yes

Updating or deleting the resource can cause an inconsistent state.  
HTTP Status Code: 409

 ** ResourceNotFoundException **   
The request references a resource which does not exist.  
HTTP Status Code: 404

 ** ThrottlingException **   
The request was denied due to request throttling.  
HTTP Status Code: 429

 ** ValidationException **   
The input fails to satisfy the constraints specified by an AWS service.  
HTTP Status Code: 400
