# UntagResource


Removes tags from the resource.

 **Required permissions: ** `rolesanywhere:UntagResource`. 

## Request Syntax

## URI Request Parameters


The request does not use any URI parameters.

## Request Body


The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

The ARN of the resource.  
Type: String  
Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 1011.  
Required: Yes

 ** [tagKeys](#API_UntagResource_RequestSyntax) **   <a name="rolesanywhere-UntagResource-request-tagKeys"></a>
A list of keys. Tag keys are the unique identifiers of tags.   
Type: Array of strings  
Array Members: Minimum number of 0 items. Maximum number of 200 items.  
Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 128.  
Pattern: `[ a-zA-Z0-9_.:/=+@-]*`   
Required: Yes

## Response Syntax

## Response Elements


If the action is successful, the service sends back an HTTP 200 response with an empty HTTP body.
