# Setting passwords for users

1. From the [Directory Service console,](https://console.aws.amazon.com/directoryservicev2/) select the directory for the created stack.

1. Under the **Actions** menu, select **Reset user password**.

1. Select the user and enter a new password.

1. Choose **Reset password**.
