# Prerequisites

Before you migrate from Teradata Vantage to the AWS Cloud, we recommend that you meet the following prerequisites:
+ Update your on-premises ecosystem where possible, including upgrading to the latest versions of Teradata Tools and Utilities (TTU) and third-party applications.
