# Downloading the MediaConvert usage report

You can download a usage report as an XML or a comma-separated values (CSV) file.

**To download the usage report**

1. Sign in to the AWS Management Console and open the MediaConvert console at [https://console.aws.amazon.com/mediaconvert/](https://console.aws.amazon.com/mediaconvert/).

1. In the title bar, choose your username or account ID, and then choose **Billing and Cost Management**. 

1. In the navigation pane, choose **Cost explorer**.

1. Under **Report parameters**, **Group by**, **Dimension**, choose **Usage type**.

1. Under **Filters**, **Service**, choose **Elemental MediaConvert**.

1. Under **Cost and usage breakdown**, choose **Download as CSV**.
