# UntagResource

Removes a tag or list of tags from a resource (either an [entity](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/marketplace-catalog/latest/api-reference/welcome.html#catalog-api-entities) or [change set](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/marketplace-catalog/latest/api-reference/welcome.html#working-with-change-sets)).

## Request Body

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

Required. The Amazon Resource Name (ARN) associated with the resource you want to remove the tag from.  
Type: String  
Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 255.  
Pattern: `^arn:[\w+=/,.@-]+:aws-marketplace:[\w+=/,.@-]*:[0-9]+:[\w+=,.@-]+(/[\w+=,.@-]+)*$`   
Required: Yes

 ** [TagKeys](#API_UntagResource_RequestSyntax) **   <a name="AWSMarketplaceService-UntagResource-request-TagKeys"></a>
Required. A list of key names of tags to be removed. Number of strings allowed: 0-256.  
Type: Array of strings  
Array Members: Minimum number of 1 item. Maximum number of 200 items.  
Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 128.  
Pattern: `^([\p{L}\p{Z}\p{N}_.:/=+\-@]*)$`   
Required: Yes
