AL2027 is currently available for preview. It is intended for evaluation and testing only and is not recommended for production workloads.
AL2027 can run an optional graphical desktop environment. Use it for workloads that need a graphical interface instead of the command line, such as data visualization, computer-aided design (CAD), or scientific applications. This topic shows you how to install the GNOME desktop environment on an AL2027 instance along with some common workloads.
