# Delete cost control rules for your Lightsail for Research virtual computers

Complete the following steps to delete a rule for your Lightsail for Research virtual computer.

1. Sign in to the [Lightsail for Research console](https://lfr.console.aws.amazon.com/ls/research).

1. Choose **Cost control** in the navigation pane.

1. Select the rule to delete.

1. Choose **Delete**.

1. Verify that you want to delete the rule, and choose **Delete**.
