# EnableCrl


Enables a certificate revocation list (CRL). When enabled, certificates stored in the CRL are unauthorized to receive session credentials.

 **Required permissions: ** `rolesanywhere:EnableCrl`. 

## Request Syntax


```
POST /crl/crlId/enable HTTP/1.1
```

## URI Request Parameters


The request uses the following URI parameters.

 ** [crlId](#API_EnableCrl_RequestSyntax) **   <a name="rolesanywhere-EnableCrl-request-uri-crlId"></a>
The unique identifier of the certificate revocation list (CRL).  
Length Constraints: Fixed length of 36.  
Pattern: `.*[a-f0-9]{8}-([a-z0-9]{4}-){3}[a-z0-9]{12}.*`   
Required: Yes

The request does not have a request body.

If the action is successful, the service sends back an HTTP 200 response.
