# DescribeAdjustmentTypes

Describes the available adjustment types for step scaling and simple scaling policies.

The following adjustment types are supported:
+  `ChangeInCapacity` 
+  `ExactCapacity` 
+  `PercentChangeInCapacity` 

## Response Elements

The following element is returned by the service.

 **AdjustmentTypes.member.N**   
The policy adjustment types.  
Type: Array of [AdjustmentType](API_AdjustmentType.md) objects

## Errors
