# DescribeFileSystemAssociations


Gets the file system association information. This operation is only supported for FSx File Gateways.

## Request Syntax

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

 ** [FileSystemAssociationARNList](#API_DescribeFileSystemAssociations_RequestSyntax) **   <a name="StorageGateway-DescribeFileSystemAssociations-request-FileSystemAssociationARNList"></a>
An array containing the Amazon Resource Name (ARN) of each file system association to be described.  
Type: Array of strings  
Array Members: Minimum number of 1 item. Maximum number of 10 items.  
Length Constraints: Minimum length of 50. Maximum length of 500.  
Required: Yes

The following data is returned in JSON format by the service.
