# DeleteEncoderConfiguration


Deletes an EncoderConfiguration resource. Ensures that no Compositions are using this template; otherwise, returns an error.

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

ARN of the EncoderConfiguration.  
Type: String  
Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 128.  
Pattern: `arn:aws:ivs:[a-z0-9-]+:[0-9]+:encoder-configuration/[a-zA-Z0-9-]+`   
Required: Yes
