# Edit application details

To edit the details of an application, perform the following steps.

1. From the left navigation pane, choose **Applications**.

1. Select the radio button next to the application for which you want to edit the details. From the **Action** menu, select **Edit application details**.

1. On the **Edit details** page, you can update the application **Name** and **Description**, the MSbuild path, and the option to **Analyze .NET Core Portability**. 
**Note**  
When you submit the updates, Microservice Extractor performs a new application analysis and refreshes the visualization of the application.
