# ListStreams
<a name="API_ListStreams"></a>

Lists all of the streams in your AWS account.

Requires permission to access the [ListStreams](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/service-authorization/latest/reference/list_awsiot.html#awsiot-actions-as-permissions) action.

## Request Syntax

GET /streams?isAscendingOrder=ascendingOrder&maxResults=maxResults&nextToken=nextToken HTTP/1.1
```

## URI Request Parameters
<a name="API_ListStreams_RequestParameters"></a>

The request uses the following URI parameters.

 ** [ascendingOrder](#API_ListStreams_RequestSyntax) **   <a name="iot-ListStreams-request-uri-ascendingOrder"></a>
Set to true to return the list of streams in ascending order.

 ** [maxResults](#API_ListStreams_RequestSyntax) **   <a name="iot-ListStreams-request-uri-maxResults"></a>
The maximum number of results to return at a time.  
Valid Range: Minimum value of 1. Maximum value of 250.

 ** [nextToken](#API_ListStreams_RequestSyntax) **   <a name="iot-ListStreams-request-uri-nextToken"></a>
A token used to get the next set of results.

## Request Body

The request does not have a request body.

The service is temporarily unavailable.

The rate exceeds the limit.

You are not authorized to perform this operation.
