

# DescribeServiceLifecycle

Returns lifecycle information for AWS services, including end-of-life dates, version recommendations, and lifecycle events.

Values to narrow the results returned.  
Type: [ServiceLifecycleFilter](API_ServiceLifecycleFilter.md) object

 ** [maxResults](#API_DescribeServiceLifecycle_RequestSyntax) **   <a name="AWSHealth-DescribeServiceLifecycle-request-maxResults"></a>
The maximum number of items to return in one batch, between 1 and 20, inclusive.  
Type: Integer  
Valid Range: Minimum value of 1. Maximum value of 20.  
Required: No

 ** [nextToken](#API_DescribeServiceLifecycle_RequestSyntax) **   <a name="AWSHealth-DescribeServiceLifecycle-request-nextToken"></a>
If the results of a search are large, only a portion of the results are returned, and a `nextToken` pagination token is returned in the response. To retrieve the next batch of results, reissue the search request and include the returned token. When all results have been returned, the response does not contain a pagination token value.

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 4. Maximum length of 10000.  
Pattern: `[a-zA-Z0-9=/+_.-]{4,10000}`

If the action is successful, the service sends back an HTTP 200 response.

The following data is returned in JSON format by the service.
