UpdateKxDatabase - Amazon FinSpace

UpdateKxDatabase

Updates information for the given kdb database.

Request Syntax

PUT /kx/environments/environmentId/databases/databaseName HTTP/1.1 Content-type: application/json { "clientToken": "string", "description": "string" }

URI Request Parameters

The request uses the following URI parameters.

databaseName

The name of the kdb database.

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 3. Maximum length of 63.

Pattern: ^[a-zA-Z0-9][a-zA-Z0-9-_]*[a-zA-Z0-9]$

Required: Yes

environmentId

A unique identifier for the kdb environment.

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 32.

Pattern: .*\S.*

Required: Yes

Request Body

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

clientToken

A token that ensures idempotency. This token expires in 10 minutes.

Type: String

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 64.

Pattern: ^[a-zA-Z0-9-]+$

Required: Yes

description

A description of the database.

Type: String

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 1000.

Pattern: ^[a-zA-Z0-9. ]{1,1000}$

Required: No

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 1000.

A unique identifier for the kdb environment.

Type: String

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 32.

Pattern: .*\S.*

lastModifiedTimestamp

The last time that the database was modified. The value is determined as epoch time in milliseconds. For example, the value for Monday, November 1, 2021 12:00:00 PM UTC is specified as 1635768000000.
