El lugar al que puede transferir sus datos AWS DataSync depende de los siguientes factores:

+ Si sus ubicaciones están en ubicaciones diferentes Cuentas de AWS
+ Si sus ubicaciones están en diferentes Regiones de AWS

## Se admiten transferencias en el mismo Cuenta de AWS

No hay restricciones a la hora de transferir datos dentro de la misma Región de AWS (incluidas las [regiones opcionales](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/accounts/latest/reference/manage-acct-regions.html)). ## Transferencias compatibles entre Regiones de AWS
<a name="working-with-locations-cross-regions"></a>

Tenga en cuenta lo siguiente al transferir datos entre [Regiones de AWS dispositivos compatibles con DataSync](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/general/latest/gr/datasync.html):
+ Al realizar transferencias entre servicios AWS de almacenamiento situados en diferentes ubicaciones Regiones de AWS, una de las dos ubicaciones debe estar en la región en la que la utilices DataSync.
+ No puede realizar transferencias entre regiones con una ubicación de NFS, SMB, HDFS o de almacenamientos de objetos. En estas situaciones, las dos ubicaciones de transferencia deben estar en la misma región en la que [activaste tu DataSync agente](activate-agent.md).
+ Con AWS GovCloud (US) Regions, puede:
  + Transfiere entre las regiones AWS GovCloud (EE. UU. Este) y AWS GovCloud (EE. UU. Oeste).
  + Transfiere entre una AWS GovCloud (US) región y una zona comercial Región de AWS, como EE. UU. Este (Virginia del Norte). Este tipo de transferencia requiere un [agente](agent-requirements.md) cuando se realiza una transferencia entre Amazon EFS o Amazon FSx file systems.

Usted paga por los datos transferidos entre ellos Regiones de AWS. Esta transferencia se factura como transferencia de datos de salida desde la región de origen a la región de destino. ## Determinar si su transferencia requiere un DataSync agente
