# Tutorial: Create a trust relationship between your AWS Managed Microsoft AD and your self-managed Active Directory domain

This tutorial walks you through all the steps necessary to set up a trust relationship between AWS Directory Service for Microsoft Active Directory and your self-managed (on-premises) Microsoft Active Directory.
