View a task in Deadline Cloud
Use the AWS Deadline Cloud monitor to view the tasks in your processing jobs. In the Job monitor, the Tasks list shows the tasks that make up the step selected in the Steps list.
To view a task

Follow the steps in View and manage job details in Deadline Cloud to view a list of jobs.

Select a job from the Jobs list.

Select a step from the Steps list.

Select a task from the Tasks list.
You can use the Actions menu to do the following:

Change the status of the task. You can requeue, suspend, mark as succeeded, mark as failed, or cancel a task.

View task runs to see the history of attempts for the task.

View session logs and worker logs. You can also add the Logs panel to see the logs for the selected task in the job monitor. For more information, see View session and worker logs in Deadline Cloud.

View the worker dashboard for the worker that processed the task. For more information, see View worker details in the worker dashboard.

View the parameters that were set when the task was created.

Download the output of the task. When you download the output of a task, it contains only the output generated by the selected task.

Browse the input and output file attachments for the task. For more information, see Browsing job attachments in Deadline Cloud.
Viewing a task's latest run
The Tasks list shows details from each task's most recent run. The columns include Latest run status, Status message, Progress, Exit code, Worker, Fleet name, and Instance type. Use these columns to find a failed or retried task without opening the task runs view for each task. For steps that use task chunking, the list also shows a Chunk range column.
To show more details from the latest run, open the table preferences and select additional columns. Additional columns include Latest run start time, Latest run end time, Latest run duration, Host name, IPv4 addresses, vCPU, Memory, Operating system, GPU chip name, and GPU count.
To open the worker dashboard for the worker that processed a task, choose the worker ID in the Worker column. To open the fleet details, choose the fleet name in the Fleet name column. For more information, see View worker details in the worker dashboard.
A task's status can differ from its latest run status. For example, a failed task shows a latest run status of Never attempted when the service didn't start the run. The two statuses can also differ for a few seconds after a run finishes, while the monitor refreshes.
