# DeleteAccountAuditConfiguration


Restores the default settings for Device Defender audits for this account. Any configuration data you entered is deleted and all audit checks are reset to disabled. 

Requires permission to access the [DeleteAccountAuditConfiguration](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/service-authorization/latest/reference/list_awsiot.html#awsiot-actions-as-permissions) action.

## Request Syntax

DELETE /audit/configuration?deleteScheduledAudits=deleteScheduledAudits HTTP/1.1
```

## URI Request Parameters


The request uses the following URI parameters.

 ** [deleteScheduledAudits](#API_DeleteAccountAuditConfiguration_RequestSyntax) **   <a name="iot-DeleteAccountAuditConfiguration-request-uri-deleteScheduledAudits"></a>
If true, all scheduled audits are deleted.

## Request Body


The request does not have a request body.

## Response Syntax

```

If the action is successful, the service sends back an HTTP 200 response with an empty HTTP body.
