Updating product and offer details in AWS Data Exchange
After you publish a product, you can use the AWS Data Exchange console to edit the product details. You can also edit the product's public or custom offers and change the offer terms. When you update your product's offer terms, subscribers with an active subscription keep their existing offer terms as long as their subscription is active. Subscribers who have chosen auto-renewals use the new offer terms.
Keep the following in mind when you update products:

You can't remove or edit a subscription duration in your offers. This ensures that existing subscribers retain the ability to renew. If you no longer want to offer a specific subscription duration, you can unpublish your existing product and then publish a new product. For more information, see Unpublish a product in AWS Data Exchange.

You can't remove data sets from a product after it is published, regardless of how many subscribers have subscribed to your product.
To update a product, data set, or public offer details

Sign in to the AWS Marketplace Management Portal

From the left side navigation menu, choose Build, Data Products.

From Products, select the product you want to update.
Note
If your product is in a draft state, edit the product by choosing the Request changes action button at the top of the table and clicking Resume product creation.

From the Request changes action button at the top of the table:

If you're editing product information, choose the Update product information option, and then follow the instructions to edit the product.

If you're changing product visibility (to public, limited, or restricted), choose the Update visibility option, and then follow the instructions to edit the product.

If you're editing data sets on your product, choose the Manage data sets option, and then choose whether you want to update existing data sets or add new ones. Follow the instructions to update your product.
Note
Choose Update data sets to manage any metadata around data sets including data sensitivity, data dictionaries, and samples.

If you're editing a public offer, choose the Update public offer option, and then choose the offer property you would like to edit. Follow the instructions to update your offer.

Sign in to the AWS Marketplace Management Portal

From the left side navigation menu, choose Sell, Private offers.

From Private offers, select the offer you want to update.
Note
If your offer is in a draft state, edit the offer by choosing the Resume offer creation action button at the top of the table.

Choose Edit from the action buttons on the table and follow the instructions to update your offer.
