Opt out of using your data for service improvement in Amazon Connect

When the following Amazon Connect services are enabled, we may use your Customer Content that you provide to continuously improve your experience, including:

  • Amazon Connect Contact Lens: Your Customer Content is used to monitor and evaluate performance of the Analytics and Agent Evaluation machine learning models.

  • Amazon Connect Customer Profiles: Your Customer Content is used to monitor performance of the machine learning models.

  • Amazon Connect forecasting, capacity planning, and scheduling: Your Customer Content is used to monitor performance of the forecasting machine learning models.

  • Outbound campaigns with answering machine enabled: Your Customer Content is used to monitor performance of the answering machine detection machine learning models.

  • Amazon Q in Connect: Your Customer Content is used to monitor performance, improve, and evaluate the machine learning models.

Only Amazon employees will have access to the data. Your trust, privacy, and the security of your Customer Content are our highest priority and ensure that our use complies with our commitments to you. For more information, see Data Privacy FAQ.

You can choose to opt out of having your data used to develop and improve Amazon Connect by using an AWS Organizations opt-out policy. For information about how to opt out, see AI services opt-out policies in the AWS Organizations User Guide.

Note

For you to use the opt-out policy, your AWS accounts must be centrally managed by AWS Organizations. If you haven't already created an organization for your AWS accounts, see Creating and managing an organization in the AWS Organizations User Guide.

Opting out results in:

  • No use of your data by AWS for development and improvement.
