Access Control Filter Toggle
As stated earlier, all users can view all exceptions, irrespective of whether they have the appropriate products and sites configured (mutate actions still require appropriate access). While this makes it easier to share knowledge, users that are focused on only specific products and sites can get overwhelmed by exceptions or recommendations for other products and sites. To help users focus on the exceptions and recommendations that matter to them, they can use the access view toggle as follows:

First, a user with the 'Admin' role must enable the feature on that instance. Navigate to the Instance Settings page from the left navigation bar

By default, they will see a toggle which sets the default access view filter for the entire instance. The 'Admin' can either decide to have one unified setting for all users in the instance, or let users decide their preferences

If they choose unified access view toggle setting, the 'Admin' can also decide if the toggle should be enabled or disabled for all users

If they choose to let each user select their own preferences, each user will have the option to toggle the access view filter for themselves. Each user can navigate to the User Preferences page from the User dropdown from the top-right corner of the screen
Change the access control toggle for your instance:

Choose the Settings left-hand side drawer

Select Application

Update the toggle and click save settings
If the setting is enabled, the system will auto-filter exceptions and recommendations listing pages to only show those which have been generated for a product OR site that matches with the access control configuration
For users that have the "Grant full access to all products and sites" enabled, the access view toggle will still show all exceptions and recommendations. If a user has that toggle disabled but has no products or sites configured, the system interprets that as having access to no product and site and so the user will see nothing
The access view filter is considered a different type of filter, and so will not show in the filter chips in the exception and recommendation page. Users can still apply other filters the same way as before, including other product and sites filters
Users can still access exceptions and recommendations for other products OR sites if they turn off the access view toggle, or they have the direct hyperlink to them
