# Using in-meeting chat

Amazon Chime gives you two ways to chat—in-meeting chat and regular Amazon Chime chat. The topics in this section explain how to use in-meeting chat. For information about regular Amazon Chime chat, see [Collaborating using Amazon Chime chat](chime-using-chat.md).

## Showing or hiding the Chat panel

You can show or hide the **Chat** panel at any time during a meeting.

**To show or hide the Chat panel**
