# DeleteAttendee


Deletes an attendee from the specified Amazon Chime SDK meeting and deletes their `JoinToken`. Attendees are automatically deleted when a Amazon Chime SDK meeting is deleted. The request uses the following URI parameters.

The Amazon Chime SDK attendee ID.

The number of customer requests exceeds the request rate limit.

The ID of the request that exceeded the throttling limit.
HTTP Status Code: 429

 ** UnauthorizedException **   
The user isn't authorized to request a resource.

The request id associated with the call responsible for the exception.
