# StopSpeakerSearchTask


Stops a speaker search task.

The request uses the following URI parameters.

The unique identifier of the resource to be updated. Valid values include the ID and ARN of the media insights pipeline.  
Length Constraints: Maximum length of 1024.  
Pattern: `.*\S.*`   
Required: Yes

 ** [speakerSearchTaskId](#API_media-pipelines-chime_StopSpeakerSearchTask_RequestSyntax) **   <a name="chimesdk-media-pipelines-chime_StopSpeakerSearchTask-request-uri-SpeakerSearchTaskId"></a>
The speaker search task ID.  
Length Constraints: Fixed length of 36.  
Pattern: `[a-fA-F0-9]{8}(?:-[a-fA-F0-9]{4}){3}-[a-fA-F0-9]{12}`   
Required: Yes

The request does not have a request body.

## Response Syntax

If the action is successful, the service sends back an HTTP 204 response with an empty HTTP body.
