# InstanceProductionVariantProps

Construction properties for an instance production variant.

## Properties

- `acceleratorType`: [AcceleratorType](/cdk/api/v2/docs/@aws-cdk_aws-sagemaker-alpha.AcceleratorType.html) = none — The size of the Elastic Inference (EI) instance to use for the production variant.

  EI instances
  provide on-demand GPU computing for inference.

- `containerStartupHealthCheckTimeout`: [Duration](/cdk/api/v2/docs/aws-cdk-lib.Duration.html) = none — The timeout value, in seconds, for your inference container to pass health check.

  Range between 60 and 3600 seconds.

- `initialInstanceCount`: number = 1 — Number of instances to launch initially.

- `initialVariantWeight`: number = 1.0 — Determines initial traffic distribution among all of the models that you specify in the endpoint configuration.

  The traffic to a production variant is determined by the ratio of the
  variant weight to the sum of all variant weight values across all production variants.

- `instanceType`: [InstanceType](/cdk/api/v2/docs/@aws-cdk_aws-sagemaker-alpha.InstanceType.html) = InstanceType.T2_MEDIUM — Instance type of the production variant.

- `model`: [IModel](/cdk/api/v2/docs/@aws-cdk_aws-sagemaker-alpha.IModel.html) (required) — The model to host.

- `variantName`: string (required) — Name of the production variant.
