# PixelAspectRatio

The pixel aspect ratio (PAR) of the video.

Use the predefined constants for standard ratios, or {@link PixelAspectRatio.of} for
a custom ratio.

## Properties

- `SQUARE`: [PixelAspectRatio](/cdk/api/v2/docs/@aws-cdk_aws-medialive-alpha.PixelAspectRatio.html) (static) — Square pixels (`1:1`).

## Methods

- `of(numerator: number, denominator: number): PixelAspectRatio // chainable` (static) — Define a pixel aspect ratio.

  **Parameters**

  - `numerator` — Numerator of the ratio.
  - `denominator` — Denominator of the ratio.

- `toString(): string` — Returns the string value in `numerator:denominator` form.
