update_proxy_session

ChimeSDKVoice.Client.update_proxy_session(**kwargs)

Updates the specified proxy session details, such as voice or SMS capabilities.

Warning

End of support notice: On April 7, 2026, AWS will end support for Amazon Chime SDK proxy sessions.

Danger

This operation is deprecated and may not function as expected. This operation should not be used going forward and is only kept for the purpose of backwards compatiblity.

Parameters:

  • VoiceConnectorId (string) –

    [REQUIRED]

    The Voice Connector ID.

  • ProxySessionId (string) –

    [REQUIRED]

    The proxy session ID.

  • Capabilities (list) –

    [REQUIRED]

    The proxy session capabilities.

    • (string) –

  • ExpiryMinutes (integer) – The number of minutes allowed for the proxy session.

        The preference for proxy phone number reuse, or stickiness, between the same participants across sessions.

      • GeoMatchLevel (string) –

        The preference for matching the country or area code of the proxy phone number with that of the first participant.

      • GeoMatchParams (dict) –

        The country and area code for the proxy phone number.

        • Country (string) –

          The country.

        • AreaCode (string) –

          The area code.
