# Changing the visual mode of the AWS Management Console

Your visual mode sets your console to light mode, dark mode, or the default display mode of your browser.

**To change the visual mode from the navigation bar**

1. Sign in to the [AWS Management Console](https://console.aws.amazon.com/).

1. In the navigation bar, choose the gear icon (⚙).

1. For **Visual mode**, choose **Light** for light mode, **Dark** for dark mode, or **Browser default** for the default display mode of your browser.
